Confirmed release date
Grand Theft Auto VI launches on Thursday, November 19, 2026. Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive list the same date in the current official marketing and pre-order materials.
The launch platforms are:

Rockstar has not announced versions for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch 2.
Preload date
Digital pre-orders can begin preloading at local midnight on November 12, 2026, one week before launch.
The physical Standard Edition is also expected to become available for shipping or pickup on November 12. The box contains a digital download code rather than a game disc, allowing physical buyers to preload after redeeming the code.

Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
A PC version has not been announced. Any PC date or system-requirements list circulating today is speculation rather than official information.
We will update this page if Rockstar adds another platform. Until then, the only confirmed launch versions are PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
