GTA 6 pre-orders are live

Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI opened on June 25, 2026. The game launches November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
There are two confirmed editions:

There is no announced Deluxe or Collector's Edition.
Standard Edition
The $79.99 Standard Edition includes the complete Grand Theft Auto VI game. It is available digitally and as a physical package containing a digital download code.
Standard Edition owners can purchase the Ultimate Edition Upgrade separately later. That makes Standard the lower-risk choice for anyone who wants to see how valuable the premium items feel during normal play before paying for them.
Ultimate Edition
The $99.99 Ultimate Edition includes the game and the Ultimate Edition Upgrade. Rockstar lists premium vehicles, weapons, styles, properties, and businesses that unlock across Jason and Lucia's story, including:

The Ultimate Edition is digital only. Physical Standard Edition owners can buy the digital Ultimate Edition Upgrade after redeeming their game code.
Vintage Vice City Pack preorder bonus
Purchases made before November 20, 2026 include the Vintage Vice City Pack. Rockstar lists:
- '55 Vapid Stanier Sedan and Garage
- Outfits and hairstyles
- An exclusive weapon pattern
Digital pre-orders also include one month of GTA+.
Standard vs Ultimate: which should you buy?
Choose Standard if you want the complete base game, prefer to earn vehicles and upgrades through normal progression, or want the option to upgrade later.
Choose Ultimate if the exclusive vehicles, weapons, customization locations, and collectibles are worth an additional $20 to you from the start.
Nothing in Rockstar's announcement suggests that Standard Edition buyers receive an incomplete main story. The upgrade can be bought separately, so there is little reason to rush the decision if you are unsure.
Physical edition warning: there is no disc
The physical Standard Edition contains a download code rather than a game disc. It is expected to ship or become available for pickup beginning November 12 so buyers can redeem the code and preload before launch.
PlayStation codes are region-restricted according to the platform account's country grouping. Xbox codes are not region-locked. Buy from a retailer serving the same region as your platform account when ordering a PlayStation copy.
Preload date
Digital pre-orders can begin preloading at local midnight on November 12, 2026. The game launches November 19.
